Fromthe 10th to 14th of October, the World Apostolate of Fatima held its 3rd Regional African congress, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, under the main theme: “World  Apostolate  of  Fatima:  Its mission  of  evangelization  in the  light  of  "Africae  Munus" and of the Synod on the  new  evangelization.”

More than sixty participants, coming from Tanzania, Nigeria and various regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo, assembled at the Theresianum Centre in Kinshasa for the African Regional Congress. Arriving on October 10^th, the meeting begun officially on the 11^th with Holy Mass in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary and the opening of the congress, presided by H. E. Mgr. Timothée Bodika,

The World Apostolate of Fatima in South Korea is celebrating this year the 50^th anniversary of its presence in the country. The festive occasion was solemnly marked with a celebration presided by the auxiliary bishop of Busan, Msgr.Joseph Son Sam-seok, last October 10^th.

In an atmosphere of festivity and in thanksgiving to God for the presence of the WAF in the country, hundreds of members gathered to celebrate the Holy Mass and share the fruits of 50 years of an active Apostolate of Fatima in South Korea.

On November 6^th2014, the International Secretariat of the World Apostolate of Fatima joined the pilgrimage group from WAF-USA for Holy Mass at the Chapel of the Apparitions in Fatima. The purpose was to pray and place the signed Pledges of WAF new members at the site of the Apparitions, a practice that exists since the beginning of the organization.

At the beginning of Holy Mass, officiated by Rev. Fr.Joshua Caswell, SJC, a couple ofpeople from the pilgrimage group carried in procession various baskets full of prayer petitions brought from America and placed them at the exact spot where Our Lady appeared in 1917. The Pontifical Council for the Laity is organizing its third world congress of ecclesial movements and new communities, from November 20 to 22. Titled “The joy of the Gospel: a missionary joy…” (cf. Evangelii Gaudium, 21) the meeting is to take place at the International Pontifical College Maria Mater Ecclesiae, in Rome.

The World Apostolate of Fatima, USA co-sponsored a Marian Eucharistic Conference on Our Lady of Fatima, on May 16-18, 2014 at Ave Maria University, in Naples, Florida.

The conference brought together Marian devotees and several guest speakers that presented the relevance of the Fatima message for the Church and the world. Speakers included Fr. Andrew Apostoli, Sister Angela Coelho, Postulator for the canonization of Blessed Jacinta and Francisco Marto; Tony Thomas, member of the Pontifical Marian Academy and Nuno Prazeres, Director of the World Apostolate of Fatima international Secretariat.  The Sanctuary of Fatima in Portugal was also represented by his
