First Thursdays of the month: Rosary of the World Apostolate of Fatima in the Little Chapel of the Apparitions

The International Secretariat of the World Apostolate of Fatima has assumed the recitation of the Holy Rosary, on each first Thursday of the month, in the Chapel of the Apparitions in Fatima, at 18.30 pm. The Rosary is offered for the intentions of our members and, in a particular way, for the respect of human life from conception to natural death.

Together with the Portuguese pro-life movement “Corrente de Oração pela Vida”, this initiative represents a concrete need to offer prayers from Fatima for the protection of human life and for all people whose life is dedicated to this cause or are confronted with the dilemmas of it.

The Rosary at the Chapel of the Apparitions is broadcasted by the Portuguese national radio as well as by two Catholic TV channels.

First Friday of October: Children and Youth in Adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament

The program “Children and Youth in Adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament” is an international Initiative of the World Apostolate of Fatima, which takes place on the first Friday of the month of October and wants to offer the children and youth a moment of Eucharistic adoration, with the intention to console God and pray for their families.

Our children need to learn to be next to the tabernacle in company of Jesus, in silence, in meditation, in order to get mold in His image to become light and salt in earth, joy for society. 

Therefore, we are launching here this appeal: help the children and the youth in your family, your parish, your school or region, to at least on this day pass sometime of adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament, following the example of the little Shepherd Francisco Marto. May this program be a true instrument of Evangelization.

First Sunday of October: Worldwide Prayer Day for Life and Peace

On each first Sunday of October, the World Apostolate of Fatima organizes, since 2005, a Worldwide Prayer day for Life and Peace. This spiritual initiative shall bring Christians to pray the Rosary for this intention, forming this way a huge prayer chain around the world for the respect for human life, from the moment of conception till natural death.

Individually or as a group do not let this opportunity pass without offering Heaven these prayers, imploring to the Lord and the Most Holy Virgin the triumph of the culture of life and Peace for the world.
