On the occasion of the Centenary of the death of S. Francisco Marto, on April 4, 2019, the group “Mater Fatima” is promoting a worldwide spiritual project called “Fatima for the world - Rosary and Adoration for peace”.

The main celebration will take place at the parish church of Fatima, where the shepherd children were baptized and where Saint Francisco Marto, in particular, spent many hours in prayer and adoration, consoling the “Hidden Jesus”.

On February 20, the liturgical Feast of Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto, the two little shepherd children of Fatima, is celebrated. The devotion to these new saints is increasing all around the world and there are many parishes and prayer groups commemorating this Feast date with some liturgical celebration.

As an example, the Shrine of Fatima in Valenzuela City, Philippines, has prepared for this year a three day program in honour of St. Francisco and St. Jacinta, including the veneration of their relics and some other devotional moments.

The World Apostolate of Fatima, region of Europe, is planning to have its third regional Congress in 2019.

The first was in the Czech Republic, the second in Portugal and this third one might take place in Germany, from the 2^nd to the 6^th    of June. The exact venue for the congress is not defined yet but, if in Germany, the organizers are planning to hold it in Fulda, the nearest town to St. Petersberg where the World Apostolate of Fatima Germany has its national centre.
