The World Apostolate of Fatima, as a policy designed by its International Board, has been promoting the constructionof replicas of the Chapel of the Apparitionsof Fatima, located in Portugal, for itsregional centers, namely, inthe Philippines – Asia, in the Czech Republic – Europe, in Panama – Central America and in Samoa – Oceania. The establishment of the official replicas of the Chapel of the Apparition is a process that requires the approval ofthe Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, in Portugal.
Although the present pandemic crisis is delaying the works of these projects, there are already positive developments that we wish to report here.

Special Year of Saint Joseph
Pope Francis has proclaimed a “Year of Saint Joseph” starting on 8 December 2020, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and extended to the same date in year 2021. This decision, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the declaration of Saint Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church by Pope Pius IX, is an opportunity to turn our eyes and prayers to Saint Joseph, model of a beloved and obedient father, who despite his discreet and hidden presence, played an incomparable role in the history of salvation.
Reflecting on Saint Joseph, particularly at this time of the coronavirus pandemic, can strengthen our faith and inspire our actions. Many are making hidden sacrifices to protect others, just as St. Joseph quietly protected and cared for Mary and Jesus.

WAF Online Store offers proximity to Fatima
In this difficult time of pandemic, when the majority of the devotees of Our Lady cannot travel to Fatima, the online store of the World Apostolate of Fatima is a precious instrument to bring a piece of Fatima to the people who love this place so much. This platform has been online for several years and offers a selection of rosaries, sculptures, books, devotional items and souvenirs, as well as exclusive items of our association.
The store, which is integrated in the website of the Secretariat of the World Apostolate of Fatima, also offers visitors the possibility to send their prayer intentions and to purchase candles to be burned at the Shrine of Fatima as well as to request the celebration of Holy Masses.
