The World Apostolate of Fatima, in compliance with its international Statutes, is holding its General Assembly, from October 23-29, 2016, in Fátima, Portugal. This is a major event that is organized every four years, at Domus Pacis, the international headquarters of the organization, in Fatima, Portugal. 

Members and delegates from all over the world will gather for a 5 day program to present their national reports, receive formation on the Message of Fatima and prepare a pastoral plan for the Apostolate for the next four years ahead. In a family atmosphere, the program will also include a pilgrimage to the holy places in Fatima as well as to other historical sites. The International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, which was entrusted to the World Apostolate of Fatima in 1947 to travel around the world, will begin an historic two-year journey across the USA, visiting more than 100 dioceses in 50 States. This initiative “Fatima Centennial U.S. Tour for Peace” begins on March 2016 to December 2017 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of the Angel of Peace and the Blessed Mother at Fatima, Portugal.

From May 17 to 21, 2016, the island of Puerto Rico will host the Second Regional Congress for the World Apostolate of Fatima in Latin America and the Caribbean’s. This international event will take place at the Capuchin Centre in Rios Piedras, Archdiocese of San Juan.

The month of October 2015, in Fatima, was marked by three important international events organized by the World Apostolate of Fatima, at Domus Pacis, the headquarters of this organization.

The first was the 7^th World Prayer Congress for Life,sponsored byHuman Life International, Austria. This pro-life congress gathered more than one hundred participants from 30 countries. The general theme was taken from St. John’s Gospel: “That they might have life" (John 10:10)” and the program included educational and inspirational talks by renowned speakers to promote the protection and dignity of human life around the world. In addition to this, special focus was put on time for prayer, including daily Mass, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the recitation of the Holy Rosary. The first Congress of the World Apostolate of Fatima for Oceania was hosted by the Archdiocese of Suva, in Fiji, on November 26-29, 2015. The four day program was an enriching experience for the hundreds that participated, including the overseas delegation composed by representatives of the WAF International Board and other people from Oceania countries such as Australia, Samoa, American Samoa and Solomon Islands.
