The World Apostolate of Fatima, in compliance with its international Statutes, is holding its General Assembly from the 23th to the 28th of October 2022, in Fatima, Portugal. This is a major event in the life of our association, every four years, gathering the representatives of our Apostolate from various countries.
Our last International General Assembly took place in year 2016, with more than 120 participants from 29 countries. In 2020, we had plans to meet again but with the Covid-19 outburst we were forced to change plans and postpone it. Now, despite all the uncertainties, the International Board of Trustees and the Secretariat have decided to hold the WAF General Assembly this year, having fixed the dates of October 23-28 for its realization in Domus Pacis, Fatima.
Delegates and Observers from all over the world will gather for a 5 day program that will include, among other things, the presentation of national activity reports, formation talks on the message of Fatima, elections to the Board of Trustees and the preparation of the pastoral plan for the Apostolate. The program will also include a pilgrimage to the holy sites in Fatima as well as to other religious / cultural places.
