Offer Flowers to Our Lady!
The month of May is traditionally the month of Mary, in the Catholic Church. For centuries, is has been common to organize special devotions for Our Lady in May. The daily recitation of the Rosary, the decoration of altars with a statue or picture of Mary, the crowning of the statue of Mary with beautiful blossoms, the visits to Marian shrines, among others.
As we enter this special month dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and in preparation for May 13, Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, we would like to invite you to make of this time a special time for Our Lady. A time we turn to Mary with confidence, asking her for peace and comfort, as we live in these times of uncertainty, with a war going on in Ukraine and with so many people suffering.
The World Apostolate of Fatima is inviting everyone, and in particular the children and their families, to make the 13th of May a beautiful day of prayer and entrustment to God through Mary’s Immaculate Heart. It would be good if you pray at home the Rosary or some of your devotional prayers to Our Lady of Fatima, preferably before a statue or picture.
